White Pass among areas open for skiing today
January 10, 2009 - White Pass Ski Resort will reopen today and be fully operational from 8:45 a.m. to 9 p.m. The resort posted on its web site that it will be open Sunday from 8:45 a.m. to 4 p.m. It has 80 inches of snow on the base and 110 inches at the summit.

January 01, 2009 - WASHINGTON -- Avalanche danger shuts down the White Pass ski resort Wednesday, and it could stay closed into New Year's Day if conditions don't improve. Snow fell at two to three inches per hour at the ski area today.
