Koos Selected To US Nordic Team
October 28, 2003 - UtahUtes.com - SALT LAKE CITY - Former Ute cross country skier
Torin Koos has been
selected to the 2003-04 U.S. Nordic Team. The seasoned veteran spent
four years competing for the Utes and graduated last spring. Last
season, Koos was an academic All-American. The Leavenworth, Wash.,
native earned an elite position in 2002, competing at the Olympic Winter
Games. In intercollegiate competition, Koos earned All-American honors
after finishing fourth in the 10-km freestyle and sixth in the 20-km
classical at the 2002 NCAA Championships.
