March 25, 2005 - Barre Montpelier Times Argus, VT - BOLTON ? Police have made
several arrests as part of an ongoing investigation into the theft of
snowboards and ski equipment at Bolton Valley Ski Resort. The losses
have totaled in the thousands of dollars.

Star Hits Vermont Slopes
January 08, 2004 - WCAX, VT - It was a night to remember for some young
skiers and riders at Bolton Valley. Freestyle expert Glen Plake dropped
in to take a few runs with some of his fans. "I get to travel the
world skiing and I'm a professional snow skier, and that is only
possible because of ski areas and so it's nice to go out and ski with
the people, ride their lifts, ski their runs and in a way say thanks for
giving me the best job in the world," said Plake.

report on warming not worrying skiers now
December 05, 2003 - Concord Monitor, NH - BOLTON, Vt. - A new report by the
United Nations that says the world's ski areas will be hurt by global
warming over the coming decades isn't putting much of a chill on the
Vermont ski industry. Snow squalls, rather than global warming, was
evident at the Bolton Valley ski area on Thursday. Still, the report
raised concerns.

Season Starts
November 30, 2003 - WCAX, VT - Our extended fall is over to the delight of
skiers and riders. People hit the slopes today at ski areas around
Vermont. Thanksgiving weekend is generally known as the kick off to the
season for many resorts, but it is definitely not a make or break
holiday. "I kind of look at it as the kick off," says Bob
Fries of the Bolton Valley Resort. "I think it really helps make
reservations. People really see that you're open and they start making
reservations later this winter."
