Beaver Mountain doubtful for early season open
November 06, 2004 - Utah Statesman, UT - Despite the early opening of Brighton, Beaver Mountain Ski Resort will not likely follow suit. Beaver Mountain Owner Ted Seeholzer said the resort will probably open after Thanksgiving. "Unless we're drenched with snow the opening date won't change," Seeholzer said. He said the lifts are ready and there are 36-38 inches of snow on the mid-mountain area while there are 14-16 inches at the bottom.  read more

Utah's Resorts Set Opening Days For Ski Season
October 23, 2004 - KSL-TV, UT - With all the snow falling in the mountains, "the greatest snow on earth", Utah ski resorts are setting their opening days! Here are the tentative dates in alphabetical order: Alta is planning to open November 18th. Beaver Mountain doesn't have a date yet. Brian Head on the 13th of November. Brighton is still deciding. The Canyons opens November 19th Deer Valley on December 4th. Park City Mountain Resort on November 13th. Power Mountain is looking at some time in mid-November. Snowbasin has November 25th circled on their calendar. Snowbird, November 20th. Solitude, November 19th and Sundance opens December 11th.  read more
