December 22, 2008 - Ivica Kostelic looked set for his second consecutive podium finish after leading the opening run of a World Cup slalom race Monday. The Croatian skier wound his way down the Gran Risa course in 49.26 seconds. Kostelic placed second in the traditional giant slalom on the Gran Risa on Sunday, his best career result in the discipline.
