Couple ties knot with their bindings
January 25, 2004 - Mansfield News Journal, OH - BUTLER -- The bride wore white. The groom wore black. Both wore ski boots. It snowed through their entire wedding ceremony at Clear Fork Ski Resort on Saturday afternoon. With Ohio 10th District Court of Appeals Judge Cynthia Lazarus officiating, Lisa Hahn, 39, and Jeff Fine, 56, were married on the back porch of the resort's lodge.  read more

Ski resorts anticipate opening
December 05, 2003 - Mansfield News Journal, OH - BUTLER -- Werner Seidel does not take much stock in weather forecasts. That's why he is hesitant to predict what kind of weather is in store for Ohio during the next three or four months. For now, he is relying on snow-making machines. Seidel is the ski-school director at the Clear Fork Ski Area. Workers at the Butler resort have been busy making snow for a couple of days, hoping to open this weekend.  read more
