Swain Opens for Skiing, Snowboarding
November 29, 2008 - Others who were not shopping on this traditional day off, hit the slopes. Swain Ski Resort got snow, so it opened Friday for skiing and snowboarding. About 20 inches of natural snow fell over the past two weeks and temperatures were cold enough to make snow, so the ski resort opened early.  read more
