Mountain to break ground on new condo complex
February 03, 2004 - Albany Business Review, NY - The Hunter Mountain Ski Bowl
will break ground this spring on the Kaatskill Mountain Club, a
condominium hotel. The ski resort is still finalizing plans for the
slope-side luxury lodging, said spokeswoman Crystalyn Thienpont. The
condo complex will feature furnished units, a ski-in/ski-out location,
an outdoor heated pool, health club and spa, and other amenities. It
will be managed by New Jersey-based Resort Condominiums International,
allowing owners to trade time at the Greene County ski resort for time
at other vacation destinations.

WIRE)--Dec. 12, 2003--Columbia Sportswear Company (Nasdaq:COLM), the
maker of the Convert(R) snowboarding apparel line, is dressing the
slopes in style as the official outerwear supplier and co-sponsor of the
Mountain Dew(R) Vertical Challenge. The 50 event, U.S. tour will start
Dec. 13, 2003, and take place at various ski resorts including Vail;
Breckenridge; and Steamboat, Colorado; Jackson Hole, Wyoming; Mount
Snow, Vermont and Hunter Mountain, New York through April 2004.

Mountain to open Nov. 15
November 15, 2003 - Albany Business Review, NY - After a four-day pause in
its snowmaking efforts, Hunter Mountain ski resort got the guns going
again on Friday, planning to open for the season Nov. 15. Concentrating
the resort's efforts on four trails, Hellgate, Broadway, Kennedy and 5th
Avenue, Hunter plans to open for skiing and riding on advanced terrain
only. The resort will offer $29 lift tickets this weekend and feature
other promotions.
