Out'n'About: Time to hit the slope at Ski Apache
November 27, 2008 - Forget crowded malls and stale television specials. For some, the holiday season doesn't truly begin until the ski slopes roll out the white carpet for another fun-filled run. Lucky for those of us living here in southern New Mexico, that day also coincides with a certain kick-off holiday.

November 22, 2004 - KASA, NM - A lot of skiers will be able to spend Thanksgiving
on the slopes this year. Taos ski valley is set to open on Thanksgiving
day. And as we showed you yesterday Sipapu opened for weekend skiing and
will open daily starting December ninth. Red River will open next week
along with Ski Apache in Ruidoso.
