Protestors Rally To Save Hidden Valley Ski Area
September 23, 2008 - A massive protest at the Wildwood City Council meeting Monday seemed to have an impact of the issue at hand: saving the Hidden Valley Ski Resort. An overflow crowd started showing up a couple of hours before the meeting even started. It was the councils first since Fox 2 first reported the resort would be shutting down. Hidden Valley Ski Area Planning To Close
September 09, 2008 - The only ski resort in the St. Louis region says it will close after this winter. The owner of Hidden Valley says he must close because of a dispute with the city of Wildwood over a snow tubing area and adjacent parking lot he wanted to build. The city says the resort has to meet additional requirements before it can expand.  read more
