November 09, 2004 - Foster's Daily Democrat, NH - CONCORD, N.H. (AP) ? A
decision on the Mount Sunapee ski resort?s proposed expansion probably
will not occur until after John Lynch formally takes over as governor in
January, according to the state?s top economic official. Sean O?Kane,
Department of Resources and Economic Development commissioner, said
Monday in a statement that two major reports haven?t yet been
submitted and will take time to review.

October 25, 2004 - Nashua Telegraph, United States - FRANCONIA (AP) - The Cannon
Mountain Advisory Commission is supporting a controversial expansion of
the Mount Sunapee ski area. The commission voted last week to endorse
the expansion. Mount Sunapee?s operators want to expand the area by
175 acres. They also hope to connect it to land in neighboring Goshen,
where they?d build up to 250 condos.
