March 05, 2004 - New Haven Register, CT - Area skiers and riders might not
think of Berkshire East in Western Massachusetts as a destination area.
But one recent Friday a New Jersey couple explained why the resort
suited them and their two little boys just fine. "It?s 2 hours
closer than Killington. It costs a lot less money. And there are no
crowds," the dad said as his pole-less youngsters waited to waddle
off toward the handle tow.
