January 03, 2009 - All of the region's ski and snowboarding resorts are enjoying good to excellent conditions now, with the last round of storms bringing Wolf Creek's base to 84 inches. Silverton Mountain is reporting a base of 89 inches, with a record 196 inches having fallen in December.

November 20, 2008 - Outside Magazine has ranked Silverton Mountain number seven on its 15 Best Ski Resorts in North America, Period list, and ski area co-owner Jen Brill says she is stoked about it. ski and snowboard season is finally here
November 01, 2004 - Summit Daily News, CO - Slowly but surely,
Colorado's ski resorts are firing up the lifts for the 2004-2005 ski and
snowboard season. Arapahoe Basin, Loveland and Wolf Creek are open, and
Copper plans to follow suit on Friday. By Nov. 20, nine more Colorado
ski areas will be open, including Keystone, Breckenridge, Vail and
Beaver Creek. On Dec. 16, the last of the state's 25 ski resorts -
Silverton Mountain - plans to be open.
