Fallen Eldora climber's injuries not life-threatening
May 15, 2008 - It took emergency responders nearly four hours to rescue a 23-year-old man who had tumbled 80 to 100 feet down a steep rock face in Eldora while climbing Wednesday afternoon. The climber, Derek Anderson, of Michigan, suffered serious injuries including two broken legs, a broken arm and facial lacerations.

March 07, 2008 - The 46-year-old skier who died Wednesday at Eldora Mountain Resort suffered head injuries and was not wearing a helmet, according to the Boulder County Coroner's Office. The skier was identified Thursday as John A. Bosman, of Orlando, Fla.
