Aspen Highlands won't reopen this spring
May 19, 2008 - ASPEN, Colorado There will be no skiing at Aspen Highlands this Memorial Day weekend, the Aspen Skiing Co. says. Resort officials were pondering how they could offer skiing, since there is an abundance of snow, spokesman Jeff Hanle said.  read more

March 21, 2008 - Executives at the Aspen Skiing Co. announced today that they will extend the season at Aspen Highlands through April 27.
