Ski deals
November 13, 2005 - First-time skiers and snowboarders pay $20 during the annual Learn to Ski and Board Weekend on Dec. 3-4 at North Lake Tahoe. The price includes an all-day beginner lift ticket, a group lesson and gear rental. Choose from Alpine, Boreal, Diamond Peak, Granlibakken, Homewood, Mount Rose, Northstar, Squaw Valley and Sugar Bowl. Reservations are not required, but would-be skiers should arrive early.   read more
