January 12, 2007 - Chuck Carter, manager of ski and snow board school at Badger Pass ski resort, said he is hoping the storm expected this weekend will bring a lot of snow. Unlike Sierra Summit, Badger Pass Ski has not officially opened, but will open cross country skiing this weekend.

March 05, 2004 - Sierra Star, CA - Recent snow storms in the Sierra
dropped more than five feet of snow at Badger Pass Ski Area last week,
prompting the resort to extend Badger's expected closing date into
mid-April. "The conditions at Badger Pass couldn't be better,"
said Colin Baldock, Badger Pass' Area Manager. "I haven't seen this
much white up here in years."
