November 23, 2007 - Alyeska Resort reports the mountain will be closed for skiing and hiking on Friday, but closer to home, Hilltop Ski Area in Anchorage opened today and has special extended holiday hours.

January 23, 2004 - Sierra Sun, CA - Planners have spent
years cobbling together development ideas for the 53-acre, 10-parcel
Hilltop location (adjacent to Cottonwood Restaurant above downtown), and
on Wednesday the public is invited to participate in the process of
developing a master plan for the site. The five owners of the site above
Brockway Road have revealed tentative plans of commercial, residential
and office development they say fit the town's needs and respect the
Hilltop's historic value as the oldest ski hill east of the Mississippi
River.
