Shoes that bind: Guided snowshoe trip kicks off night events at Mission Ridge
December 30, 2008 - WENATCHEE The group of 13, mostly strangers, began their assent up the mountain at Mission Ridge Ski & Board Resort during the opening weekend of night skiing. Eleven signed up for the fourth annual twilight snowshoe event Saturday night with two guides leading the way. Only the crunching of snow underfoot could be heard above the screaming winds.

stone-company owner buys Mission Ridge
November 20, 2003 - Seattle Times, WA - SEATTLE ? A Woodinville businessman
known more for granite countertops than for deep powder is the new owner
of the Mission Ridge Ski Area. Larry Scrivanich bought the 2,000-acre
ski area near Wenatchee from Harbor Resorts, which also owns the Stevens
Pass and Schweitzer Mountain ski parks. Harbor Resorts, a division of
Seattle's Harbor Properties, did not disclose the price yesterday.
