Saint-Sauveur's Q4 profit rises ...
August 11, 2004 - CBC News, Canada - SAINT-SAUVEUR, Que. (CP) - Strong real
estate sales in the United States helped ski resort company Mont Saint-Sauveur
International report a fourth-quarter profit of $975,000, compared with
$954,000 a year earlier, despite poor weather.
The company said Monday it earned 13 cents a share for the three months
ended April 30, compared with a profit of 12 cents per share a year
earlier. Revenue rose to $23.8 million from $19.4 million, led by
housing sales at Vermont's Jay Peak, as well as the Mont Saint-Sauveur
Valley north of Montreal.

resort sued for boy's injuries
December 20, 2003 - Montreal Gazette, Canada - A Laurentian ski school is
being sued for almost $3 million by the family of a 9-year-old boy
nearly killed during a lesson in January. The civil lawsuit filed this
week in Quebec Superior Court claims negligence on the part of Les
Stations de la Vall?e de Saint-Sauveur Inc. and Mont Saint-Sauveur
International Inc.

Edwards secures ski resorts
November 12, 2003 - Calgary Herald, Canada - Calgary oilman and financier
Murray Edwards has tightened his grip on Resorts of the Canadian Rockies
Inc., Canada's largest privately owned operator of ski resorts,
including Lake Louise and Fernie in the west and Mont Sainte Anne in
Quebec. Edward's move to cement control of the group he rescued from
creditor protection in 2001 will see president Charlie Locke -- who
bought the company in the early 1980s -- shift to an advisory role as
vice-chairman.
