Breaking news: Aspen, ESPN extend X Games two years
January 22, 2009 - ESPN and the Aspen Skiing Co. have announced that the X Games will remain in Aspen through 2012. The current contract, which ESPN and SkiCo executives agreed on in 2006, puts the X Games at Buttermilk through 2010, with an option for an extension through 2012. The two parties agreed to pick up the option after discussions wrapped up Tuesday. read more
